Fiber goodness

Here is a felted handbag I made over break.

I knitted it with Lamb's Pride worsted weight yarn (only needed one skein of green and one of orange) on size 11 needles (Addi Turbos) then threw it in the wash on hot with a pair of jeans (thanks, honey), a couple towels and some very mild soap. I then blocked it on a box and let it dry. It shrunk by 1/3 its original size, and the yarn blossomed into a heavy fabric.

This is an easy project if you know how to do a knit stitch and a purl stitch. The only other thing you need to know is picking up stitches, which is very simple. Let me know if you want more info!
