For the love of sketches, number 7

Over at For the Love of Sketches, Donna has posted Sketch #7.

I had a blast making a layout using this sketch. I used some of my leftover stuff from The Girls' Paperie (which is no longer in existence, boo hoo!) and a reprint of an old photo of Sophie's grandfather in the arms of his mother. I love the look of joy on her face!

In addition to using Sketch #7 (above), I gathered inspiration from a recent challenge during the Paper Secrets Birthday Bash. The Recycle Challenge called for using a recycled item that wasn't normally used for scrapbooking. I found a fun twisty-tie and used it as a partial frame.

Right now at Paper Secrets, there is a Design Team call, and I am in the running. I would truly, truly appreciate your vote, if you would be so kind. I love this forum and all the ladies. There is so much talent there, both developed and budding. So, head on over there and vote for me. If you aren't already a member, it is super easy to join, and there is no cost or obligation. We're just a group of paper artists who love to share!
